The short version

We collect your email address only if you give it to us, and we use it only to send RefrigerantReady study material and product news. We do not sell it. This site has no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies.

What we collect

• Email signup. When you use a signup form, we store your email address, the date and time, and which page the form was on.
• Quiz score and theme. Your last quiz score, best score and your light or dark theme choice are saved in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device, and you can clear them by clearing site data in your browser.
• Server logs and analytics. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures page views without cookies.

Who processes the data

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and storage of the email list.
• Resend: delivery of the emails we send you.

These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any RefrigerantReady email. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, reply to any RefrigerantReady email with your request. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, such as access, correction and deletion.

Children

RefrigerantReady is meant for adults and trade students preparing for a professional certification and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
